"Kathleen Nielson's study books are all designed to encourage not only daily interaction but more importantly personal engagement with the Word of God. Her theology is sound, the format is unique, and the results can be life-changing. Joshua: All God's Good Promises is an invaluable asset for personal spiritual maturation and for enhancing any disciple-making ministry." --Harry L. Reeder III, senior pastor, Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Birmingham, AL
"This study brings you face to face with the promise-keeping God of Joshua and of today. From the first lesson, where we learn of God's promise to Joshua to be with him wherever he goes as he leads the people to the Promised Land; through the middle lessons of God's faithful leading, and victory, and sometimes defeat for the people; to the final lesson of the people's response to Joshua's charge 'to choose,' we are challenged to respond in faith and obedience to this same 'faithful, powerful, covenant-keeping God.' This study encourages and inspires love for and faith in this God who never changes, who will fulfill all His promises. We see this God and are changed!" --Kathy Ladd, director of women's Bible study, Village 7 Presbyterian Church, Colorado Springs, CO
"Dr. Kathleen Nielson uses her great love for and understanding of literature to lead us into rich study of Holy Scripture. Her studies highlight the importance of meditation and self-discovery while providing just enough gentle guidance always to steer us to the Good Shepherd as our hope and strength." --Bryan Chapell, president, Covenant Theological Seminary

We've used books by this author before and enjoyed them too. This book
has some questions that we, as a mixed group of Bible College graduates
as well as just housewives, have to dig to find the answers, but we do!
If you want an in-depth study to help explain the Book of Joshua, this
one is it.
This is the kind of a study a serious group of students of the Bible will appreciate. If you are a leader and wish to disciple a group of believers, this is the kind of study you would appreciate. It is not a 'book review' type study. No, you have to use your Bible, cross references and sometimes, even the additional use of Bible helps and commentaries.
As mentioned before, this is the second study by this author that I have done. In my last study, Proverbs, I introduced this type of Bible study to a group of ladies who were not at all used to this method of studying. There were many comments, once they began, which I expected. They, at first, found it difficult. I just encouraged them along. By the time we'd finished our study, there was nothing but praise for this method of study and they were ready to begin another, which we will be doing within the month. I look forward to seeing God work in the lives of those that God has privileged me to guide through this study.
