My review of Joules boots

I wanted to write a review as to what I feel and see of the Joules Women's Mollywelly Rain Boots. I purchased these boots on Prime. They did NOT arrive in two days as Prime said they would. If you are wanting to use Prime at the last minute and expect it to be delivered in 2 days find something else or have them sent over night. Boot review: I read Amazon reviews and they said the boots were large. I took the fitting test and the recommended size was size 8 and that is what I normally wear in all other shoes so that is what I ordered. They fit a bit big but that was without socks. I took a stroll around my home and noticed that they would rub my legs raw if I do not wear jeans or long socks. I found some fuzzy thick socks tried the boots on again and they fit great. I should say with and without socks the boots did not slide up and down on my heels much. That surprises me because I have a slim heel and a medium foot. I did notice I did have to tug harder when I had a thick sock on to remove the boot. If you have any type of arthritis I would suggest getting a size up so you would not have to tug so hard to get the boot off. (It did take me a bit of umph to tug it off) The boot itself looks well made and the dots are adorable. They will look good with any color I wear. I gave only 4 stars as I have not worn them in the rain and muck. I will come back in the future and say how they have held up.

Loose/slippy shoe liners that move around when I walk.

I wanted to love these! They are super cute and fit pretty well. As a half-size wearer, it's always frustrating when the shoes are whole sizes, but since the size 6 was $18, I went with it! (I wear a size 6.5, but since rainboots are usually a little larger, I tend to go down a size with them). Unfortunately the liner really slips out of place when I walk. By five minutes of walking (it's a ten minute city walk from where I park to wear I go to school), the liner was halfway up the back of my leg and I was walking halfway on the shoe bed itself. I took the liners out hoping that would help, but the bottoms without the liners are bumpy and uncomfortable. I'm going to try them out once more this evening, but I think I'm probably going to send them back. I almost want to glue the liners down, but I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to position them right and that I would mess them up.

Can Wear All Day and Good for folks with Sizable Calves

Comfortable. I wear them all day on rainy and snow melting days. If wearing them in the Snow wear extra socks for insulation. The sizing is generous, so it leaves room for wearing extra socks. For those folks with muscular calves, that find it near impossible to find boots that fit them...these are the boots for you.

I am OBSESSED with these boots! I do find them a little difficult to get off but I'm used to slipping on sandals so I'll get the hang of them. We have chickens and I wear them outside to feed them. Before, wearing sandals I did it a little begrudgingly knowing my feet would be dirty and I would need to rinse my feet in the tub... etc etc. But now I jump at the chance to get outside and be in the rain, feed the chickens, even mow the lawn because these boots are SOOOOOOO cute. I did read the reviews ahead of time and noted most people said they ran a little large. I usually wear a 9.5 - sometimes but rarely a 10. So I ordered a 9 and they fit PERFECTLY! I would say to order a half size to one size smaller than you would wear in tennis shoes/sneakers.

LOVE these boots, the print, etc.

Adorable boots. Unfortunately, the size 6 fit like a 7, and even though I wear a 6.5, these were far too sloppy for me to wear. They remind me of kids' rain boots, made just for playing in puddles. If you have any foot issues, these won't help you. They offer no support. I tried adding an insole, which helped a bit, but not enough. I was hoping for a boot that I could wear when walking my dogs, but there is no way I could walk 3 miles in these. I wanted to love them! Simply the cutest boots ever! The red (fairly light, not fire engine red) Dalmatian boots have black and white Dal print lining. On looks, they rate 5 stars. On usefulness, for me, 1 star. Averages out to 3.

I just had these delivered today and love them so far! I normally wear a size 11, in some shoes I can get away with wearing a 10 if I’m lucky. The largest size in these boots are size 10 so I figured I’d give them a chance and if they didn’t fit, return them. They fit amazingly! No pinching anywhere! I will update my review again later once I’ve worn them a few times to see how they hold up.

I bought an amusingly weird pattern (homely dogs sporting winter attire) for a very cheap price for gardening and yard work in the pacific northwest. The included removable insoles slide around like all insoles that come in galoshes, so I intend to chuck those out and buy a cheap odor eater insole I can replace often. The side walls are softer than other, cheaper, rain boots I've had in the past, they crumple a bit as I squat and walk around which is very comfortable! I'm a petite size women's 6-7 shoe, and the 6/37 fits fine. I like the printed inner liner, the contrast stripe, and the bottom is sturdy and grippy. This is a nice quality boot and worth far more than the $15 I paid. I wish i could have gotten a rainbow or stars pattern though and I'll be keeping my eye out for better patterns. (Dogs in scarves, beanies, ...and rainboots? These dogs don't seem dressed for galoshes weather.) Being a slender person with skinny legs, I could probably fit two of my legs in the top of one boot, though, so if you have difficult to fit kankles or luscious plump calves, this boot will likely work for you as well.

I like nothing more than to have dry feet I hate it when it is almost impossible to get my wellies off - my husband bought me a beautiful pair of Hunter wellies and I love them, I really do, but they are a nightmare to get off. In fact I have to hold on to the banister rail and ask my husband to pull each boot off!! Goodness knows what the neighbours must think! So for my birthday this year I bought these. Great boots, seem well made and so easy to take off! Box they came in just as pretty so am storing my lovely crochet mags in those! One very happy dog walker!!

I was going to this order in order to return item or get a refund - I bought these for my mum as a Xmas present but she has informed me that that they have split at the heel and let in water and she can no longer wear them. She has worn them since Xmas i.e. 2 months and I expected that they would last a lot longer than this. I gave the one star - not because she didn't like them but they have proved to be poor quality and not long lasting. I would like a refund but am not sure if this is now possible under Amazon's policies.

I have bought 3 pairs of these wellingtons and they have all leaked. This latter pair leaked on the first wearing - which is even worse performance than the others, they at least took a few wearings before they became effectively unwearable! These were bought for me as a gift and I did not receive immediately after they were purchased hence the window for return has passed. Otherwise they most certainly would be going back. I will NEVER buy Joules wellingtons again.

Absolutely useless!! I've owned them for less than 2 months, worn them twice a week on average and they are LEAKING already!!! What a waste of money! Apparently I'm out of the return or refund window too, so if you want your welly boots to last more than 6 weeks, DON'T BUY THESE!
