Leonard Tuchyner's musings through the seasons of a life parallel the seasons experienced by everyone. I loved his stories of his youth, and the beautiful metaphors he used as he sang of the variations and challenges of the seasons as though he was the loving and patient gardener who tended his plot of earth. Thank you, Leonard, for your beautiful book. .

The seasoned journey into the inward thoughts of this poet evoked both thought and interesting images. The poem "A New Season" could have been written for the day I sat out on my porch--the first the fickle winter permitted me to--and dreamed of the coming of spring.
