About Joy Daniels
I write erotic romance because I like to expose my characters completely - strengths, flaws and scars. My debut novella, Revving Her Up, was the first story in the Full Throttle series, which focuses on the bad boys - and girls! - of stockcar racing. It was a Night Owl Reviews Top Pick, and has been called "one heck of a sexy ride" (Sizzling Hot Books), and "a hell of a sexy read" (Read-Love-Blog). I am currently working on the next two stories in the series.
My newest novel, Nashville Trio, is a steamy MMF ménage about a country singer and the two very different men in her life. It came out May 5, 2014.
I'm originally from New York City, (and still a loyal Yankees fan!), but since moving south, I've developed passions for NASCAR and country music. Both feature in my recent stories. In addition to writing (and reading!) I enjoy yoga, bellydancing, and growing veggies in the Washington, D.C. area with my scientist husband and two curious kids.
I love hearing from readers so stop by, and say Hi! at www.authorjoydaniels.com or follow me on Facebook or Twitter. “Daniels successfully tackles the emotional and erotic elements around these three using passion as the motivating factor. There’s passion for music. Passion to move forward with life. Passion to find and lay claim to personal/sexual identity. Passion for two, not one, partners in life. Enjoyable and sexy read.”

Blog postMy latest Work-in_Progress (WIP) is a New Adult novel about a college student runner, and the bodyguard hired to protect her from herself. He’s an old crush of hers, and she’s the boss’s daughter all grown-up, so there’s all kinds of potential goodness – and badness – in there!
The story takes place in Boston, a city I lived in for six years. The city holds both good memories for me, as well as a few de,ons – the mix fuels my writing.

Blog postThis week’s sentences ( there are a few more than seven) come from a work-in-progress, a paranormal short story about a succubus, a female sex demon and the man she can’t get out of her mind. The working title is Succubus Dreams.
“A succubus is a she-demon, a spirit from the Sitra Achra – the Other Side – who visits men in the night, arouses their minds and their bodies, and – ”
“And sleeps with them.” He nodded. “I know.”

After years of hard work country music duo Sweet Talk is on the verge of success. Singer Ashley Ford swore off the romantic entanglements that cost her mother her musical career, but her playing has fallen flat. She needs a spark.
Where inspirations strikes
Co-singer Rob usually find his pleasure with men, but when Ashley runs back to the arms of her ex lover Ty, he realizes that he’s no longer content being only a friend.
A tangled trio
Pride kept Ty from pursing Ashley to Nashville. When Ashley returns to his bed, Ty vows not to give her up again, even if it means sharing her with a man he finds aggravating – and surprisingly attractive.
When secrets and ambition seem poised to destroy her chance to be a star, Ashley must decide if she’s willing to risk it all for a Nashville Trio.
For centuries she has visited men in their beds, arousing their bodies to harvest nefesh, the life energy that the demon world depends upon. Any man will do, and she has never visited a man twice. Until now.
A mortal man
For weeks Sean Moran has dreamt of a beautiful woman who pleasures his body and ravishes his soul. Afraid that he is losing his mind, he follows a trail of mysteries and magic to an extraordinary conclusion.
One night
In the space between the worlds, Sean and the Succubus come together to experience passion in each other’s arms. But in their union a powerful secret is revealed—one that could endanger their very souls.
Forever.
And she wanted to do something for the city that has inspired so many love stories, and made so many people fall in love with her. She teamed up with Lori Perkins, the Publisher of Riverdale Avenue Books, and an award-wining anthologist, to create a way to give back and rebuild.
In these pages you’ll find love stories to New York City by:
O.M. Grey Louisa Bacio
Adam Carpenter Tell James Glenn
Trinity Blacio Karen Taylor
Latisha Beaty F. L. Bicknell
Tony Wards Nicky Penttila
Joy Daniels
Riverdale Avenue Books will be donating 10% of all revenues collected from the sale of this anthology to the Red Cross Hurricane sandy Relief Fund.
When the house party guests arrive, Evie discovers among them two men she has lusted after for months. When she learns that the men are best friends and roommates she tells herself they are off-limits but can't help wanting them. Both of them. As Evie investigates the past, each clue brings her closer to learning her aunt's secrets – and discovering the passionate promise of love with two men.
