I love this! My mom and I have severe allergic reactions to certain perfumes and smells (think rashes, hives, face swelling, respiratory issues and severe migraines). It doesn’t bother us at all, it’s the only essential oil we use daily. I also happen to suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, Depression, and Axiety.

While it obviously doesn’t cure them, the smell does brighten my mornings and evenings, and relaxes me. It also is one of the MANY COPING tools I use daily. This brings me to my next point. Most of the people complaining are angry that it doesn’t make them feel 100% or cure their ailments. It’s not suppose to. It is a supplement be a part of your coping toolkit, and slightly help your symptoms, not make your illness go away. Be realistic. I hope modern medicine catches up and cures many illnesses, but until then it takes many different mechanisms to help us cope (medical and non-medical)!

This smells so amazing. Yes, it is citrus. Heavy on the tangerine, but it is grounded by something soothing and warm. This is my second purchase from this company (The first was Relax, which was nice but just not for me) The "Joy" blend is all I wanted it to be.
I like price point, the scent and the quick delivery. I bough it put in a small diffuser on my desk. I think I might by another small bottle to keep in my purse or car.
My only gripe is that the bottle doesn't dispense a drop at a time, like most other essential oil bottles. Which is not a problem if you are dabbing it on the skin. But if you are making a water dilution to put into a diffuser, please be aware that the oil pours out.
Overall this is a great buy. I love this uplifting, well price blend.

I am new to the essential oil game but I was going through the Whole 30 and thought this would be a good way to keep my sugar cravings from destroying my willpower. The weirdest thing is that it worked! Not only did this improve my mood, my crazy niece came over and this seemed to make her less destructive. The beyond-weird part is that my cat was crazy about this scent too, he would position himself as close as possible to the defuser when Joy was going (as a control, he had no interest in it when I put the Calm blend in the defuser). I even put a drop on my facemask when I went snowboarding in the halfpipe, something which always causes a little anxiety, and I think it really helped me. The smell is a good mix of citrus and floral and I am so happy with it.

In fairness, it's very difficult to know whether or not you will like the scent of a product based on a written description, and I was cognizant of that upon placing my order. I will also admit that my primary interest in essential oils is the actual scent, not any potential health/wellness benefits. Compared to other essential oils I've smelled, this one is among the most pleasant. It does not have a medicinal smell, and in fact seems quite natural. Quality product with timely arrival - the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to personal preferences and the fact that I didn't genuinely love the scent.

It seems of high quality oil and it works great with my Aroma Stone but the fragrance does not make me think "joy." It was a little weird, Although it grew on me a bit. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. My husband came into the room and I asked him if he liked it and he said "It smells like citronella!" My thoughts exactly! Not unpleasant but not really what I was looking for.

If you like Ylang Ylang, this is for you. That one oil overpowers all the others in this blend. I love Bergamot and all the other oils in this blend, but everything else is drowned out by the Ylang Ylang! I can get a faint whiff of jasmine, but forget the others, The oil seems good quality, and I know it is a good synergistic blend. A little goes a LONG way. The oil got here in 2 days from the shipper, well packed, in excellent condition. I appreciate the great service and prices via Amazon!
