The main drawback of this book is that the author seems to be trying really really hard to hit a total of 250 recipes; there are sections where the same recipe is repeated 4 times with minor variations, seemingly to hit this magical 250 number. I personally prefer books that describe the master recipe and discuss the variations as just variations, rather than completely new recipes.
Linda seems to have a recipe for almost any vegetable you could find at the farmer's market - even for those overlooked cukes that are huge! I'm tempted to try that one with the huge zucchini we get from friends.
I don't think you can go wrong with this book. And we all owe Linda a big thank you for pulling together recipes from all over the map and all over the years.
