About the Author
About the Author Jennifer Rundlett, founder of God thru the Arts ministries, maintains a presence in the community with her active lecture and concert series highlighting the spiritual connections throughout the arts. Author of My Dancing Day: Reflections of the Incarnation in Art and Music, she regularly posts devotional blogs on God thru the Arts at http://www.jrundlett.wordpress.com and has been a speaker at the Pepperdine University Bible Lectures in Malibu CA, Tulsa Workshop in Tulsa OK, David Lipscomb University Summer Celebration in Nashville TN, Rochester College Streaming in Rochester Hills Michigan and Fort Detrick Prayer Breakfast in Frederick Maryland. A native Californian, Jennifer received her Bachelor Degree in Music from California State University at Northridge where she studied with many of the working studio musicians of the Los Angeles area. She then studied at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore with Tim Day Principal Flute of Baltimore Symphony and Robert Willoughby Principal Flute of the Cincinnati Symphony. Upon receiving her Masters of Music, Jennifer then went on to study in England with Trevor Wye at the Royal Northern College of Music where she received a Post Graduate Diploma in Flute Performance. Jennifer is an active member of the faculty of Frederick Community College and Mount Saint Mary’s University where in addition to maintaining her flute studio, she teaches “Music History & Appreciation,” “Introduction to the Creative Arts,” “Survey of World Music,” and is the director of the FCC Flute choir. An active recitalist in the Mid-Atlantic region she has recently appeared as soloist with the National String Symphonia and enjoys playing and performing with the Wedgewood Flute Quartet. She is also the coordinator and administrator of the annual Shields Music Scholarship competition that awards approximately 40 prizes to young musicians for their tuition to study music at Frederick Community College.

I believe that for anyone interested in the intersection - perhaps symbiosis or even coalescence of Art and Faith, this book (and her previous book "My Dancing Day") are worthy of your bookcase.
