This little book tells you everything you'll need to know to get started with juicing. The first chapter describes the process, benefits and the reasons for engaging in juicing. The book goes on to identify the three types of juicers and how to choose one.
Extensive lists of fruits, vegetables and optional additives, with descriptions of their health benefits, are included. Health problems and ailments are addressed as well as juicing and weight loss. The best part, however, is three whole chapters of yummy sounding juice recipes
I also appreciate including information along with the fruit or vegetable regarding what vitamins they contain, and what symptoms they can alleviate, i.e. lowering blood pressure and bad cholesterol. Great selection of recipes and the nutritional information charts are helpful for tracking calorie consumption. Overall, an excellent guide for helping the beginning juicer, and a good source of inspiration to get started juicing!
By coupling the ideas with mouthwatering pictures, I thought this book was very reader friendly and appeasing to the eye. It also contains a wide variety of great recipes, each with icons which easily explain the benefits in which you will receive. I would definitely recommend Juicing for Beginners to anyone who was serious about making life changes towards becoming healthy.
