Over all, it was a great read with captivating story line, excellent voice and a magnetic protagonist.
Jules, The Earth Trilogy Prequel, is an enjoyable short and bold fantasy novel. The author Kaela Stevens describes a world full of amazing creatures with great detail. Jules, the witch enjoys using her magic and even kills with delight when she has to. The reader will have to read the next book to know if the mysterious shape shifting Hansel has any chance to soften Jules' heart.
Looking forward to reading what becomes of Jules in the next installment.
The main character named Jules is self-described described as:
“Almost six foot of pure, sexy half-elf form, my slick books and lithe figure slipped through the little town unnoticed.”
Jules and her journey immediately intrigued me and the strong female lead made this tale very enjoyable.
I look forward to reading more by writer Kaelia Stevens.
The authors writing seems to be aggressive with a note of wry humor and filled with sarcasm. Gotta say, I am a fan.
Although I don't need to read book 1 "Olyvia" to know what happened to Jules. But the storyline of "Jules: The 2nd Adventure" makes me want to know more about her past. If you like this book, you may want to read "Olyvia" too.
