Product Description
Paleo Protein Powder ™ Unflavored (Egg White) is a low calorie 100% egg white protein that can be easily mixed with just a spoon. Sourced from egg farms in the USA, this is truly a pure form of protein that is easy to digest. Just two simple ingredients egg whites and sunflower lecithin (non-gmo)
Egg whites are a complete protein that contain a full spectrum of amino acids which aid in in weight loss or lean muscle development. They are Keto, Low Carb, and best of all neutral tasting so you can easily mix them into any baking recipe or smoothing for extra protein. My personal favorite is taking one scoop with some organic cold coffee concentrate in the morning with one scoop of Pure Monk (Monk Fruit Sweetener).
IKDiet Phase 1 Compliant
DIRECTIONS: Mix one scoop into 8 ounces or more of water, almond milk, coconut milk or any liquid you prefer.
Nutritionally Superior
Plain and simple, there really is no better-designed Paleo Protein powder unflavored egg white variety. Essentially a dehydrated egg (which also makes it a pure protein source), it has no fat and no sugar, is low on calories and extremely low in carbohydrates (most powders contain a gram or less) and packs a significant protein punch. If you’re on a weight loss diet, like the IKDiet, then egg white protein is the perfect option to make sure that you don’t wreck your efforts. Egg white protein is also helpful if you want to maintain or add muscle mass while on a fat loss program. It can easily be added to your healthy recipes to boost muscle growth without packing on extra calories or killing the flavor of your meal.
Big-Time BCAAs
Our Paleo Protein Powder is packed with Branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) which are the building blocks of protein and considered a key element of muscle maintenance and growth. Studies show that low-calorie plans that are also low in protein do result in weight loss; however some of that lost weight comes from muscle. In my experience, most people who are interested in losing weight also want to look lean and toned and our Paleo Protein is designed to build lean defined muscle while preserving existing muscle with just the right amount of naturally occurring BCAA.

After looking at a lot of protein powders from various different sources, eggs, meat, vegetables, milk, etc...I chose this one.
Below are the reasons:
-U.S. Based manufacturing and ingredient source, some powders are produced outside the U.S. and I have read there is metal or other contamination that can occur. Though I did not confirm this I assume U.S. based products would not have this issue or are safer than non-U.S. products.
-No filler ingredients, this is literally powder egg whites, which by default are a whole/natural protein source. Other powders have so much weird un-pronouncable "stuff" in them that you don't even know what your taking or how accurate the claims are.
-Non-GMO and no antibiotics used on chickens
-Eggs are cooked and not air dried (this prevents a avidin health issue), they are also pasteurized. This was confirmed by calling Julian Bakery's in California and an email to their nutritionist.
-No Soy, no Lactose! Large amounts of soy diets can cause hormonal issues for both men and women. Avoid soy proteins! I am also lactose intolerant so pure egg protein is great.
-Price per. protein comes to 30 g per. dollar., really good rate compared to other products out there.
-Low calories, basically you are taking in calories only for the protein not other fillers (e.g., sugars), it is about 4.32 calories per. protein
-The expiration dates are very reasonable, my two bags are about 2 year + to expiration.
-One con is that it does have a lot of salt (381 mg per serving), so if you are sensitive to it, or this is something you watch, it is something to keep in mind
One thing that stuck out is that the empty scoop weighs 9 grams and filled it is 34 grams, I am not sure why this is, maybe they are rounding the servings to a nice number. Technically each scoop has 25 grams (34 grams minus 9 grams) of powder, which i hopefully means it is 25 g of protein and additional 5 grams is just rounding since serving size is 30 grams.
***CORRECTION*** I realized that the scoop measures close to 30 grams, but its impossible to design something to pick up the exact amount of powder every single time, you will need a scale if you want exactly 30 grams every time, or just live with the fact you will scoop anywhere from 25-30 grams.
Overall good product and one of the best I found. The taste is so-so, that means it won't make you puke, but it isn't like ice-cream. It's just plain. I am in the middle of my first bag. Before protein powders became a fad and different brands/recipes went out on the market, in the 90's eggs were considered to be the best source of pure complete protein (i believe it still is). I am comfortable with putting this in my body over a long period of time on a daily basis due to its very very short ingredient list.
Please always consult a doctor before changing your diet or exercise program. I am not a doctor and nothing here is offered as health advice. Please as always verify everything once you receive the product or before you buy.

Taste: I chose the plain due to financial reason. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical but, trust me, It tastes really good and next time I will choose a flavored one. You will like it a lot.
Consistency: a very little foam in the shaker. Some protein egg makes so much foam in the shaker that you need to wait for 5 minutes before drinking it.
Price: a great value for the price. It worths every money you spent.
Bag: Easy to open and close it again.
Digestion: I use the egg powder with 20ml MCT oil and no issue with my stomach. No pain, no issue, nothing (I have problem with not well cooked eggs).
If you buy this protein, you will appreciate and find it is a good value for money!
Flavor is not the best as is plain, but mixes well and has enough protein per scoop.
Much superior to pea protein.
Actually if you mix it in plain water it doesn't taste so bad. Basically no taste at all - exactly what I wanted. Originally I mixed it in Almond Milk. Changing to 4 stars
**Original Comment**
I ordered plain one and it tastes just like salt. I guess you can even use it for cooking as salt. I tried to mix it but doesn't seem anything can get rid of this taste. I specifically ordered the unflavored one in hope it would be tasteless. Will probably have to return it or through away.
Before I did some research about taking this product, I had acne breakout which caused from consuming whey protein. I have been taking egg white protein power daily for six months, I feel more masculine and no breakouts. I often drink after working out or before bed time. I’d recommend white egg power as an alternative drink besides main meals for anyone who wants to take 100% natural nutrition product. I’m really satisfied with product.
