Blog postJulie Harper's latest book, Butterfly Cursive Handwriting Practice Workbook, was released on January 5, 2015.
This handwriting workbook is decorated with images of butterflies to help inspire interest in cursive handwriting. However, the interior images appear in grayscale, so as not to be too distracting from actually writing and learning, and also to keep the price affordable. Even in grayscale, the interior design is quite beautiful.

Each story is followed by a storytelling prompt, which can be used to try and get kids to tell (or write, if you supply some paper) their own wacky stories.
May your children or students learn to love reading and make it a lifelong habit.

For the e-book edition, a basic blank composition notebook or journal could be used for summarizing each story.
The mermaid theme on the cover and interior design, along with the topics and characters of the stories, were chosen specifically to help interest girls. Of course, boys could read and enjoy this book, too, although some boys may not appreciate that it says "for Girls" on the title. Sorry, boys!
