As a lover of inspirational short stories and children's books, Julie Tucker started sharing her short stories on her new blog in March of 2014. She had been writing quips and quotes for many years. On a whim, she decided to share her work publicly. Her first public inspirational short story was about her Mother for Mother's Day.
Julie reviews children's books on her blog and loves doing it. Writing reviews along with sharing short stories gave her the inclination to start writing children's books. She wanted her books to be educational and entertaining. Part of her goal in writing children's books was to bring children and their parents together.
Art is fun for children and Julie wanted her images to be colorful and bright to draw families into the storybooks. Although she does not draw the images herself, she finds illustrators she loves and puts their images together to make the pages come to life.
Her hope is that, with all of these characteristics put together, her storybooks will
give families learning tools and information to talk about with each other.
Julie also hopes to continue writing and designing graphics for years to come. Look
for coloring books to match her storybooks with adult coloring books coming soon.
