Great way to bypass BT Headphones!

I got this to allow me to listen to an older pair of active cancellation headphones via BT. But ANOTHER pair of BT headphones for working out died AGAIN. Look, this is much cheaper, allows me to decide what headphones I want to connect, and I also use it to send from my phone into my sound bar.

I don't use the call functionality, so can't speak to this aspect. But for the price it beats the other options out there. I now can get high end non-BT headphones for less that don't die out and use this to connect.

Thanks for a nice solution to buying new work out headphones every year.

Update: After using this on a snowboarding trip I decided It wasn't worth a 5 star. The clip that attaches to your clothes does not hold very tight, so I ended up having to put it in my pocket which made track skipping not as seamless as I would like. However, it does work quite well besides the technical issues related to use during impact sports. I wouldn't buy again, but I don't regret having it. It also turns my old-school receiver into a wireless bluetooth one I can control with my phone. :)

I bought this guy to listen to my TV with some cheap ear buds. It works beautifully. It pairs and re-pairs easily with the TV and seems to turn itself off when I turn off the TV. Battery life is excellent. My only complaint is that I have to be careful to not block the signal to device which can happen if it falls down beside me. When I clip it to my clothes in sight of the TV, I don't have that problem. The volume controls work well. I have not tried the phone features (skip forward, reverse and the microphone), so I cannot comment on them.

The Jumbl is smaller than I thought it would be. I have all kinds of wired headphones I used with my iPhone 5S. I upgraded to an iPhone 7 Plus. Now without a headphone jack I am relegated to just bluetooth enabled headphones for which I only have a couple. The remarkably small Jumbl now allows me to use my array of wired headphones. The Jumbl clip makes it easy to attach to clothing keeping it out of the way. I am impressed with this wireless bluetooth unit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar solution.

Adaptor delivers everything that I was looking for

I bought the BlueTooth 4.0 version of the Jumbl Bluetooth Stereo receiver. At this point I've had it for only a week or two. Somewhere between four to six years ago I bought a similar-looking product from a different company, so I'm looking at this device compared to that bluetooth stereo adaptor. *That* older device did not support BT4.0, and the battery charge never lasted more than four hours. I use it with some stereo earbuds from Bose which I had bought many years ago, and buying this is certainly less expensive than buying the latest bluetooth-capable earbuds. What I wanted this for was to listen to music while I am at work. So ideally I'd like to use these to play music, without stop, for more than eight hours straight.

So far I'm very happy with this bluetooth receiver. The description claims the battery will last for nine hours, but given the way I use them they seem to last maybe six to seven hours. However, much of my day is spent sitting in a chair next to my computer, and these work fine while they are plugged in and charging. So I tend to do that, and then whenever I need more freedom of movement I simply disconnect this receiver from the USB cable and clip it on my shirt pocket. As a result, the only times where the battery has drained out is when I *deliberately* avoided plugging it in because I'm *trying* to see how long the battery charge will last.

I prefer to play music off of the Mac Pro in my office, instead of running down the battery in my iPhone or Apple Watch. And I can *almost* make it anywhere on my floor at work without losing the connection. My older BT adaptor would start to lose the connection within ten feet of the door of my office. When I'm using this in my office, the music never drops out. But the farther I get from my office, the more likely it is that the music will drop out for a second or two at a time. When I'm farther away, the bluetooth connection seems more reliable when I'm standing still, compared to if I'm walking.

I paired this up with my iPhone one time, so I'm confident that works. But as I said, I *want* to use it with my Mac as the source for music, so right now I continue to use the older BT adaptor when I'm playing music off my iPhone.

My Bose earbuds are old enough that they do not have a microphone, so I cannot comment on how well the adaptor would work with a headset device. It does claim to support some of the BT protocols for headsets.

The sound quality seems pretty good to me, but then my ears are not as good at hearing a wide range of sounds as they used to be.

I see that this claims to support simultaneous BT connections to multiple devices, but I haven't tried that yet. I didn't even realize it supported multiple connections until re-reading the description while writing this review! I'll have to check to see how that works.

I expect to buy at least one more of these sometime soon, which I'd usually use at home. Then for those times where I do need really long battery life, I could switch from one of these to a second fully-charged one, and thus have the option for six-to-seven more hours of battery life for just $20.

I have two of these! One for home, and one at work.
WORK: Since I am in a cubicle, there is a lot of noise, and, let's face it, I do better work with music. I used to listen to Pandora, wearing headphones attached to my computer, which would result in near-strangulation when I reached for something further than the cord would allow. With the Jumbl, I can now walk over to the printer and my boss' office without having to pause the music, remove headphones, etc.
The Jumbl charges quickly via USB attached to my computer, and can be played for an 8 hours+ workday without being charged again.

HOME: I don't have to stop the music on the Bluetooth speaker or miss out on good songs when I go in the basement for chores. I use the Jumbl instead.

DEFINITELY recommend.
