- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2011This is a free sample of three puzzles. They are the kind of puzzles found in most newspapers. We are shown a picture cartoon and four scrambled words with one of the boxes holding these words being circled. The object of the game, which is simple, is to unscable the words and place the circled letters in the place below. Once these letters are unscrambled, they answer the puzzle raised in the cartoon. There are more such puzzles sold by Kindle, one with 20 puzzles and one with 50 and 200, but these are not free.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2014Not terribly challenging, but a fun little game when you have a couple of minutes to fill. I'll definitely buy the full version.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2010If you're wondering how well the game of "Jumble" can be played on your Kindle, just download this free sample of three puzzles. They look pretty good on a Kindle, and playing the game is quite simple. There are two differences between playing this version and playing in a paper or a book. If you realize what the answer to the riddle is before you solve all four word jumbles, you cannot simply fill in the answer. The game will not allow you to solve the puzzle until you have solved all four words. This could make the game a little tougher, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I have played many Jumbles where I couldn't figure out a word, yet I knew the puzzle answer. Now I will be forced to solve the entire puzzle! That is, of course, unless I wanted to use the "Hint" feature which is included in this game. That feature gives you one letter at a time, in the correct position, for whatever word you are working on. If you have solved all the words and are stuck on the puzzle answer, you can also use the "Hint" feature. I prefer not to use this, as I enjoy making the puzzles harder. I've seen two groups of Jumbles for sale on Amazon.....20 Jumbles (.99) and 50 Jumbles (2.49). At a nickel a Jumble, it's easy to decide whether they are worth buying.
UPDATE: There is now also a collection of 200 Jumbles available for 4.99. At only 2.5 cents each, that's the one I bought. Working four puzzles a day, it will last me almost two months! Hopefully they will sell more of the big Jumble books.....
- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2014I love these puzzles...It is so hard to find them. I like the jumble crosswords by David L. Hoyt. I don't know if he is still doing them I think I have purchased all of the Jumble Crosswords he has ever done. My favorite!

I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2014Entertaining when I have to wait in line or have time to waste. It keeps my mind engaged and my kids like it also if I need to occupy their time!
