About the Author
Donald J. Hunt grew up near Rochester, New York, where he started writing stories and winning impromptu writing contests in Mrs. Shannon’s fifth grade class. Those early explorations into the imagination sparked a nagging passion to weave tales. That insistence ebbed and flowed but never left. Don has taught at the middle school, high school and university levels. He has compiled a lot of ideas, partial scraps of stories, and reams of notes. Jupiter Justice is his first complete novel. His life journey eventually took him to the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He lives there now with his wife and two children. He is striving to indoctrinate the children into the ways of the Force and all things Geek. The dog, Indiana Jones, and the cat, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, wholeheartedly support his endeavors.

Note: while I do not see him often I have known the author for almost 40 years. And yes, I can bug him for you about getting the next book written.
The story moves along at a good pace.
The settings are also very well done.
The setting for this story is almost like another character in its impact on the story. It is explained quite well and is an interesting component to everything that happens.
But to me the story is the most important part of a book and this story is well told, with good plot twists and some unexpected turns.
Well done, thank you for a very interesting story, with strong characters, good pace and well written action scenes.
This is a detective story set among the human habitats spread throughout our solar system. It follows Rico, an ex-military investigator now managing security for a team competing for the anti-matter space drive X-Prize. After a competing team’s test pilot, and friend of Rico, dies in mysterious test run explosion, Rico is drawn into a race of his own to find the killer before more crimes are committed.
It’s a great story line, fast paced, with enough twists and turns to keep you engaged and guessing.
It’s based on plausible, well researched science; has well rounded characters; and well written. If you like near-future hard science fiction, you’ll enjoy this story. I did!
To me, this reminds me of the stories I read in my youth, Asimov and Norton, a serious and delightful story!
It's not a military space novel or series, like Weber's Honor Harrington series, but a very excellent Science Fiction detective space novel!
You must read!
I enjoyed reading Jupiter Justice immensely and look forward to future novels that reveal more of the characters and the world they live in.
