I have four brain injuries, two TBI and two ABI.....book was/is one in the same. Probably to many books saying same experiences. I'm very happy though that the Injury is becoming public knowledge. Doctors need to go back to school. 250,000 people in America alone has a TBI. My daughter's life is over and it's very painful! The more people learn about the silent disability the better so keep these books coming. Writing one myself but had to put down. To painful living it (my daughter's life has been smashed) and then write about it. So I'm happy what's out there. Legit information also

No two injuries are the same, yet there is a bond in those touched by TBI. Trying to educate others that it may change physical, and maybe mental health but a person is still human not a puppy dog to baby talk. . . Several places i stopped, re-read and felt so much emotion in tbis.

I think everyone should read your book. It might help them understand us better. I'm still making progress, but it is slow. We don't have a bandage on our head so some folks don't know what is going on. Wish I could remember your 10 things to tell people.... but I can look it up on my Kindle.
