Not too user friendly, but the song selection is good
on September 24, 2013
I got this after someone got us Just Dance 3 and we realized the content wasn't appropriate for our age set (five kids 10 and under). The oldest, after seeing Just Dance, was never really into this at all. The girls, 4 and 6, seem to enjoy it and play it occasionally. The most troublesome thing is that it is difficult for them to use. At our house, Screen Time is when Mom checks out - to make dinner, fold laundry, or just have a little time where no one is talking to me. So when this game involved a LOT of help, I can't say I encouraged its use. It doesn't flow from song to song, and so after each selection, they were struggling to select the next one. As their motor coordination has improved, this has gotten better, but they rarely ask to play it now.
I liked the songs, the dance moves, and the kid friendly lyrics. I wish that is was easier for the kids to use independently and that they didn't have to fight with it after each song.
