First, I am a science educator, with a great understanding of the laws of physics and mechanics. Second this book DOES have the basic logic and mechanics shown with some decent presented examples. It’s a big first step in the journey.
My reading, however, of this book says that the reader should be somewhat aware of some physics and certainly aware of algebra and trigonometry. Although the examples show the importance of problem setup, it does so with abbreviated steps with worked out forms of a solution. I would rather have seen or be shown the work steps that arrive at the solution in its entirety for such a novice introduction.
I will say the author does well at explanatory message on how the forces and fields affect vector level computations, but does not say why the fields or forces are related to even Newtons laws. Some level of trust is assumed by the reader.
