Not only did I connect with the hilariously accessible writing style, but the overall message of this book deeply resonates with me as a human factors professional. This book is a must-read for any UX professional who combats nay-sayers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis: There's absolutely no reason to skip user research on behalf of weak excuses from management and peers. More importantly, any engineer, developer, manager, entrepreneur, etc--anyone involved with designing a product--needs to read this book as a concise and entertaining How-To guide to user research. A very quick read!

The book provides a solid overview of the most used research techniques that could help anyone designing a product make better decisions.

The suggestions are scalable and down to earth. Takes all the 'rocket science' scent off the notion of 'research' in design.

All of the examples are based around a single sample project. You never get stuck with just the theory.

It is easy to take in, effortless to start and providing highly practical advice.

All around a great read with the tasty bit of humor.
