"A crime thriller with a genuine Northern small-town feel... Fisk has the gift for bringing people on the page to life."
"Ms. Fisk created a masterful opening scene by taking the reader into the mind of a Sociopath... Overall this was a well written story that kept me interested from page one, all the way to the end. I will definitely be reading the next installment."

"Just Intuition (Intuition Series Book 1) by Makenzi Fisk is a compelling tale. The opening chapter is enough to hook a reader into wanting more, and leads straight into a psychological, haunting tale of terror. The addition of the paranormal gives this story more depth and a different look into the mind of a killer. The plot is ingenious, and it gave me plenty to think about. With the excellent character development, it was easy to fall into the story and walk by the side of the characters, living the story with them and, if you have a vivid imagination, you won't find it difficult to picture what is happening. This is brilliantly written, an incredible thriller with plenty of action and twists along the way. You might think you know who did it, but you don't and you won't know until the very end. This is the sort of book that could easily be made into a film or into a series. Looking forward to Book 2."
August 9, 2017 "A cleverly written storyline that has your mind playing tricks on you until the last few pages, with characters who are well written and familiar but with hidden secrets to discover." ~ Erin Hodgson, The Lesbian Review

A very enjoyable read for anyone who likes intrigue and mystery
I would actually give this book a 3.5 if I could. I do think it belongs on a reading list for those who like mystery/suspense, but I wouldn't put it at the top of that list.
While I enjoyed the plot and the twists very much the fate of Fuzzy Fiona was too much for me.
