The main characters are Tori and Carter. Tori works as an administrative assist for a clinic of sorts and Carter is a professional baseball player. They have two friends, Seb and Pax. Tori and Carter don't know one another at first but seem to run into one another quite often. Then finally get introduced when Carter visits Pax in the hospital. They seem to hit it off and they start seeing one another. I mean texting one another :). This is the start of a relationship in any case. knowing the strong attraction to one another, they continue to keep themselves in check so not to disrespect one another or God. They have to pray a lot. They soon find that in Christian lives there are lots of trials as in any life and this will determine whether they are the right match for one another.
Like I said before, this book started out slow but after I got used to the writing style I really liked it. The story line is really great. I think what I liked most is the empphasis on prayer and how really important it is to actually stop, think, pray and then act accordingly. This couple put God first regardless if they were going to be a couple or not. I would recommend this book to young people who need to REALLY know what a relationship should be like. A relationship with God first and then everything else will fall into place. Whether its what you want or not. You know its right because its Gods will. Thank you, Amy Norris for your writings. Happy reading, everyone.
