My husband uses the other color for dark hair, and I didn't see why I, a woman, can't use it too. My hair is colored, but I have gray roots. I wanted to see if I could just shampoo away the gray roots. Give it a try.
The odd thing about the instructions is that they tell you not to use your fingertips to apply. I don't know why they don't just include gloves. The first time I used it there was no color residue on my hands. However; with each subsequent use the oxidation caused the product to turn purple at the nozzle, and then there was residue on my fingers, and I had to be sure I didn't leave any to stain my tub.
I used it for 5 days straight. I am seeing less gray. A few more times and I think it will be gone. I'm not sure if the rest of my hair will keep getting darker. Maybe not, as I won't be using it as my exclusive shampoo.
It doesn't seem to be ruining my hair. Not any more so than coloring the roots every 3 weeks.
This is easier to do than any female product I have tried. Why make it "just for men"?
