You get an extremely natural look - just by shampooing as you normally do. Just use it instead of your usual shampoo until you like what you see. Then use it in rotation with your usual shampoo to maintain the look you like. There's never been an easier way to control your grey. Get the look you want: Use the control GX as your daily shampoo, and after the first few washes, you'll start to see a subtle reduction in the amount of gray. Continue to use it until you reach your desired level of grey reduction (generally within 2 to 4 weeks). You can even control how gradually you get to your desired result by using it daily or every other day at the start. Keep it that way: Once you've reached the level of grey reduction you like, you can reduce the frequency of use, alternating with another shampoo. In general guys use it as their daily shampoo at the start, and when they are in "maintenance mode" they use it 3 to 4 times a week.

Honestly we didn't expect much - there is/was no mess you simply go take your shower and utilize the shampoo to wash your hair. From day one we noticed little by little a slight change to his gray. That's good my using the word slight - to us anyway - as the last thing he wanted was to have it extremely noticeable. This works subtly which is more natural. He has used it on his mustache as well. We are now about two weeks into it for him and he's gone to every other day in using this. Again this is a subtle but very good change the product makes. It's definitely worth it - and the first bottle received about two weeks ago he still has about half a tube left of the shampoo! Anyway nice product and I believe you cannot go wrong utilizing this - it's a subtle change little by little.

Wish I Had Tried It Sooner

So here's my story. I'm mid-60s and have been totally grey for a number of years. In fact, it's been trending more towards white these last few years. I didn't suddenly want a headfull of brown hair. What I was hoping for was a look that was age appropriate. Something that toned down the old man look that I saw in the mirror. I tried this product right after getting my haircut. I have them use a number 4 blade on the sides and back (so pretty short) and then leave an inch and a half on top. I used this every morning when I showered, putting a portion about the size of a quarter in my palm and massaging it in with my palms. I then left it in for about two minutes before rinsing it out. After that I applied a conditioner and then rinsed that as well. I didn't notice anything different for the first few days. It was day four when I first saw some slight darkening. Now, after day eight, it is to the point where I would call it a golden grey, if that makes any sense. The white is totally gone and it's sort of a deep grey color with blonde highlights. I actually like the look. It doesn't look at all dyed or fake and seems totally age appropriate. Years back I tried the typical out of the box dye, and this is a much more natural look. Now the challenge will be how to proceed in maintenence mode to maintain the look. My only regret is that I didn't try this sooner. Great product! One note: I did have a small amount of fingernail staining. Not so bad that anyone would notice though. After both massaging it in and rinsing it I would wash my hands, but a little staining still occurred.

If your skin can handle it, use on your dry hair for 5 minutes before rinsing. If you wet the hair the product will drip everywhere. It took 5 uses to get the gray into a medium brown. Then use sporadically to keep the color. It stains everything so best to use in the shower and then rinse the shower. I wouldn't call it convenient to use (messy) but it works with several applications. The color is not blond: it is brown.
