I have not been using hair dye, but finally had to start, wives always have final say as you know :) I tried Just For Men Shampoo-in color, and overall happy with the outcome.

- Very easy to use, just follow instructions provided
- Really important to follow the actual durations provided for product application
- The color lasted fine for around 4 weeks

Just For Men has other variants as well, like Comb-in color, which I switched over to eventually, however this product is excellent overall, no complains.

Trick on how not to waste extra money

For those out there who have no clue about dying hair and blindly rely on the instructions, GF’s, Wives, etc. It is silly simple once you understand the ingredients and ratio.

It boils down to “developer” and “color”. There are a slew of different developer “#’s” out there, which is why this kit is good if you are not a pro. It took me a while to figure out what the numbers mean. Basically it is the strength needed to “lift” the color up or down bases in the starting hair color.

But for these kits, it uses a neutral developer strength, so no need to worry about it.

Next is the color; there are not additional ratings for it. So don’t be fooled by their numbering system. Just look at the color.

Now for the trick; the Ratio. If you notice in the box, the developer and the color are the same amount volume size.

I always thought it was some sort of special mix. Nope! It does not matter if you are a professional colorist or an amateur like us. The ratio is going to be pretty much the same.

1:1 ratio.

Here is the fun part! You don’t need to use the entire bottles. For short hair, use 1 Tbsp each.

I personally say no matter what length, just use 1Tbsp at a time.

So instead of 1 pack being 1 use. 1 pack can last 3-5 uses. That is a huge cost savings.

Just get yourself two bottles, a mixer and brush. All of that is under $10 at your local beauty supply store.

When you get the multi pack, just dump the contents into the bottles and you are good to go.

As for the product itself, i find the color lasts about 2-3 weeks.

I'm only in my late 20s, but I got a lot of greys on my sides. The dye was really easy and fast to use, just did it before a shower. I'm very happy with the results, completely Black, I made sure to put extra dye on my sides. I'ts only been 1 day so far, but so happy with the results and it looks very natural. The price was not bad either, plus It got 3 boxes. I still got 2 boxes left and will use again.

Update: about a month later and Black is still here just as good as day 1. It's a perfect product. There's only tiny unnoticeable greys from new growth roots because that's normal because hair grows of course. But it's not noticeable because my hair is semi-long.

Works great. Takes years off your appearance if you are not allergic to it. For months I had the worst possible allergic reactions. I will be sitting down and my eyes will just start watering. Then it will itch non stop and non of my allergy eye drops worked. My eyes were so sore and red my pharmacist was speechless. I went to the eye clinic and they gave me two prescriptions which helped a little.

I thought it was the vaccine but my doctor said no. Soon I was on a hourly regiment of eye drops for infection, inflammation, and allergies.

I decided to take a step back and retrace my foot steps and it came down to this product and the vaccine so I went to look up this product and found the allergy warnings from other users.

I washed my hair multiple times a day to try and get it out of my system. My allergies have subsided a lot and I am still trying to wash it out my har.
