First time coloring my hair. Easy to do, didn't leave much mess. I watched women do this and they always ruin towels. Since I have short hair it wasn't the case. I got the deep dark brown and my hair came out pretty dark, almost black. I'm surprised how well it covered my grays. Didn't ruin a towel and my shampoo didn't wash it out. I will get a lighter color next time because I wanted a more brown look vs. the black. Love this product and at this price it's a no-brainer to buy again when my grays come back. I did not need a comb to spread the color solution.
