Not a lemon! You just have to know how to treat Barbie!

There are many reviews stating that the product does not work as described; but it does! We didn't buy this from Amazon but when I opened the box and discovered the rock hard hair I knew I could find some help on here. Perhaps I was taking a trip down memory lane or maybe it's just that Barbie is high maintenance and all she needs to get going is a nice wash and scalp massage. I filled the sink with warm water and jammed Barbie in there upside down to soak on hopes of removing the gunk. While she was decontaminating I removed her accessories from the package and transferred them to a small basket. After about ten minutes of soaking Barbie was ready to be dried off. I had zero troubles with brushing her hair to get the tangles out. While brushing the hair I noticed that the lipstick changed to a much lighter pink so I tested her nails too. Voila! Another successful change to light pink! At this point I looked to the pink in the hair. Boy, I felt like a dummy for not catching this one first. The pink strands of hair also faded quite substantially. It took about an hour for Barbie'd hair to air dry and it was soft and voluminous just like in the photos! She is now a soft pink, Easter Sunday lookin like Barbie. She's got an appointment in the morning to see her 6 year old stylist for the power pink look. Rumor has it that she uses ice cold water while styling and that's what really brings the bright pink color out!!!
