NY city is expensive. When I travel I pack my non-stick electric fry pan, and cook in my room. On the plane, I pack the following dry mixture in a plastic jar.
2 T. powdered Just Whites
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup Saco powdered milk
1/4 t. salt
Upon arrival, in the hotel room add 1 cup +2T water, shake jar, swirl batter in pan, flip, and, voila, crepes!
Just like home-made!

Deb El Just Whites
Just Whites is 100% dried egg whites. It can be added to dry ingredients in any recipe calling for eggs or egg whites. Just remember to add extra water or fruit juice in amounts specified in the table below to any liquid (including water) called for in the recipe. Egg Whites powder may be stored at room temperature. Keep partially used containers tightly closed to prevent moisture to enter. If the product is stored in a dry location, it may be held indefinitely at room temperature. Cholesterol free, fat free, and sugar free.
Use the table below to determine the amount of Just Whites and water to use.
Egg Whites Just Whites Water
1 2 tsp 2 tsp
2 4 tsp 1/4 cup
3 2 tbsp 6 tbsp
6 1/4 cup 3/4 cup
8 1/3 cup 1 cup
12 1/2 cup 1 1/2 cup
Add Just Whites to warm water. Stir for 2 minutes, giving the powder time to absorb the water. Continue to stir until completely dissolved. For best results, use a whisk. To obtain foamy, soft, or hard-peak stage, use an electric or and-mixer, as you would for fresh egg whites.
PS Price seems a little high.

Used to buy this in the local supermarket, but they stopped selling it, so now I buy it here. It is a good product for when you need egg whites but either don't have them on hand or you need them uncooked, but without the risk that regular raw whites would carry of salmonella. Note that dried whites will not produce a meringue as smooth and tasty as regular egg whites, but this still comes close. I recommend.

I add this to my other egg protien powder to cut the sweetness. No cholesterol (unlike whey and other protiens) which is something that is important to m at my age. Great alternative bodybuilding protien source if you are watching cholesterol.
