Taylor Donovan, sexual harassment lawyer has moved to LA from Chicago for a $30 million trial that she is in charge of. Taylor loves her job and knows she good at it, she doesn't let people see her emotional side. Her second language is sarcasm and she uses it often! Taylor has been asked to go over a script for Hollywood actor Jason Andrews. Jason thinks the sun and moon rises with him and Taylor is not at all impressed. He is about to be taken down a level by one strong woman with lots of smarts and sass.
Jason Andrews is Hollywoods "Sexiest Man Alive" and is used to getting his way, never being told NO and discarding women like a card game. Jason is amazed that Taylor isn't falling at his feet and makes her dislike of him obvious. He is attracted to her and sets out to make her it admit that she's really attracted to him as well. His plan of making her jealous backfires and she ends up dating another HOT Hollywood actor. These two actors can't stand one another and a "pissing" game ensues.
Taylor learns over time that Jason isn't has bad as she once thought, without the camera's and all the hoopla associated with Hollywood, he's a nice guy. She can't let her heart get involved, she got burned once by a good looking cheater and survived it but she doubts she would this time. Jason finds out the hard way that Taylor doesn't trust him, he offers her his heart, will she take it and give him hers as well?
THE STORY: Attorney Taylor Donovan is working hard to become partner at her law firm. The last thing she needs is to babysit international movie star Jason Andrews who wants to do research for the legal thriller he is starring in next. Taylor and Jason immediately strike sparks off one another. Taylor knows exactly the type of man Jason is: she left her charming fiance who promised to change his womanizing ways and then cheated on her. Jason is attracted to the sarcastic Taylor but doesn't have any permanent intentions. Of course, the two can't help but fall in love.
OPINION: JUST THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE is funny and lively and incredibly sweet. The story of two people who aren't looking for love, Taylor and Jason banter and argue their way to a deeper connection than either expects. The entire book feels like a great romantic comedy: superstar actor finds professional woman who is entirely wrong for him and definitely doesn't want to have anything to do with him, but the two fight and find out that they are perfect for one another. The chemistry between Taylor and Jason is wonderful. Funny and fast paced, the book goes incredibly fast. Despite the unlikely circumstances, the characters feel human and real. The sweetness and gentleness that underlies the sarcasm and arguments between Taylor and Jason makes this book a great read.
WORTH MENTIONING: This book is sweet on the sex front. There is no explicit sexual scenes. The only reference is very tame in relation to other books -- including those by Julie James.
FINAL DECISION: Great, funny, sweet romance. The book just feels like a good romantic comedy.
CONNECTED BOOKS: JUST THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE is a standalone.
STAR RATING: I give this book 4.5 stars.

Cute relationship romance... funny & kept my interest. Definitely not of the "steamy" variety, but a good read.Read more
This is by FAR the best version of girl-meets-celebrity that I've read. And I've read quite a few, since it's such a common story line.Read more
