Victoria has been hired as the schoolteacher for the town of Salina. She is not like any schoolteacher that I have ever met though!
She is a strong female heroine who has a score to settle and revenge is her first priority. After meeting the people of Salina, she begins to question her priorities and with the help of friends and the Sheriff, begins to find her place in the world.
Sheriff Timmons is my favorite type of hero - a lawman! He is there to help Victoria and keep her safe. He also finds her sweet, sassy and incredibly attractive. He would do anything to protect Vicky from any harm.
There were spelling errors in the book but didn't detract from the story for me. I enjoyed the tale and the strength of Victoria as well as the twists and turns the book had.
This is a short story but it packs quite a punch. The main characters are drawn vividly and some of the side characters are, too. The villains are properly evil and despicable.
I enjoyed this story and think you will, too. Try it!
For me the author has used this to her advantage by keeping my interest and leading me in twist and turns that I was not expecting she would have taken all the characters through.
Victoria has been hired as the teacher in Salina and becomes
best of friends with Emma Olsen and Kate Marshal that will probably last for a long time to come.
Sheriff Jim Timmons seems to always be around and lends a fun side to this romance that is developing gently with the assistance of her dear friends. He instinctively is there to protect Vicky.
Yes the spelling does have mistakes which is the main reason I did not give it 5 stars, but it will not keep you from missing anything. Be sure and give this short read a chance she may have even updated her book by this time and oh the spelling errors are corrected.
I am looking forward to more from Penny Estelle.
