I liked this story a lot! I think the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the fact it wasn't long enough IMO. Otherwise I thought it was thought provoking and believable of how the two became friends then lovers. I hope the sequel will actually show more how their relationship as a couple develops. Again, I really like these two. Please hurry!

Love can be painful and full of misery. Do you ever wish you could unlove someone? Their smile just twists you up inside and their touch sends you to heaven. Yet, they make your world hell on earth.
Caleb Duncan knew this feeling, in love with a gorgeous, selfish woman. How could he remove her from his heart and life?
Danielle Scott loved a man who she just could not resist and that love turned on her in the worst of ways. These two beautiful, giving people have fallen for the wrong mates. They are both from different worlds, caught up in a sweet manipulation and trapped by calculated seduction. Can they find a way to be together? Everyone gets what's owed to them as love and revenge are never satisfied. In the end, you gotta have what's Due and Just, but can real love be truly Justified?

This is the first story in the Justified Series. It's a short story about Caleb a corporate executive and Danielle a marketing executive, who due to a possible merger with the companies they work for have to work together. Even though there is an instant attraction between the two, both are having to deal with issues with their past relationships.

I really enjoyed the story and the ups and downs they both had to face, the character's personalities and the sensual passion between Caleb and Danielle. The love scenes in this book are not erotic. So if that's what you are looking for, it is not in this book. But that doesn't mean you don't feel the passion between the two. I definitely recommend this story for anyone interested in a short story. I'm looking forward to the series and reading more about Caleb and Danielle, along with the other characters in the story. Extra content from the second book, Just Desserts, is also included.

Some grammatical errors. It was okay in an amateur way. Not much drama. Guy meets girl. They are both seeing others. Realize they are attracted to each other and must dump their partners. They do. Get back together and are happy for the time being. An average read.

I usually shy away from novella's only because I never feel that the price was ever worth it. But I was going through a dry reading spell and couldn't find any stories worth my time. this one was mentioned in a review from a different story. I'm really glad I decided to purchase. It was poignant, albeit short. I like that the author had realistic ideations about each of their situations and realistic internal conflicts ( except for the unnecessary misunderstanding that lead to an even more unnecessary reaction). Although if you really think about it, there are women that act that way in life all the time as frustrating as it is. It begs to drive home the point, communication is key.

There were a few grammatical errors which could have been distracting , but for some reason it wasn't. Looking forward to book 2 from the Justified series

What a pleasure to read. I was hooked from the start, the main characters Caleb and Danielle I fell in love with as they were portrayed as two real people, in real circumstances going through real feelings.

I love romance because you just want that happy ending, the fairytale ending and sometimes in life the fairytale doesn't end quite so happily. Sometimes in life we make choices marred by our emotions and our feelings, and sometimes we are eluded of that happy ending because of the choices we make.

The author has portrayed the characters to have made some of those decisions that are questioned as to whether the right choice has been made or not. I love the way she writes showing you what the character is feeling and you go on that journey with the character, I'm not about to give away the ending whether the two find their happy ending or not but it is a beautiful story that just makes you wanting to find out if they do.
