The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their fathers death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justins patented J-Flex Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the .Standard Of The West Since 1879..

This happened to me. I went back in and tried the process again and the same thing happened. Selected ORIGINAL ... and STEEL TOE pops up in my cart. so thats what we got and sent back with a notice of the page content error. Amazons link must have been, or still be, connected to the wrong product. after I notified them I got a response so I hope this has been fixed. I ended up abandoning my attempt to buy the Original Boots on Amazon that day tho, and found the same ones on workbooks.com. My husband likes these clunky boots and says they are comfortable. He wears a 14 so we will have to add on to our mud room. This is his second pair. Sometimes I almost can't open the back door if they are parked just inside! He literally walked out of the first pair he wore them so much. There is an insole which is quite nice and gives cushion.Choosing comfort over style, the green ones will do him just fine for a couple of more years of every day outdoor work. He wouldn't be able to get a pair of spurs around the heel. Like I said they are clunky. Each to his own!
Only con so far, the laces are much too long and smooth, meaning they will become untied unless you double knot.
My picture shows a week of wear.
Beware: This is a Justin boot they are comfortable with some padding in the sole and the leather is tough. I walk around the shop all day and when I take them off at night i wonder why the carpet is so hard. They also do a great job at deflecting the random object that run into my feet throughout the day without tearing or taking an major scars. I expect to have these boots for a couple of years before buying a new set.... in only amazon did boot resoling too... next day....
I noticed my back hurting while standing and walking for a long time. I bought some padded inserts to add with the ones that came with the boot. My back pain went away but with thicker socks I can feel my left foot push against the Steel Toe cap right above the foot.
Definitely safety toe, and the boot is labeled steel toe, so I have no reason to doubt it. Pretty comfortable for steel toe, I didn't feel it at all after wearing them all day.
These are pretty much the look I was going for, kind of a dressy work boot, but the quality seems to leave a bit to be desired. Time will tell, I'll update if anything changes.
