The book arrived on-time, and looks nice enough. I like some pages, I don't like some other pages. I am new to smash or scrap books, so I am not yet confident about covering up the pages I don't like. I will start with first couple of pages with her first day of preschool and see how it goes.
One thing that bothered me when buying this book is not able to see what's inside. So attaching some inside pages.
I have two smash books, 365 folio (green)+ pretty pocket folio (purple).
365 folio is a year round smash book, it has a new years resolutions, 4th of July, Thanksgiving(what your thankful for) and a Christmas list/purchases+many,many more.
The pretty pocket folio is the biggest one, it has little pockets and slots to hold some extra items and to hold small pictures. It has many extraordinary pages/pictures. It's a great smash book for starting out[in my opinion.]
Also I included pictures to show some of the smash books features. The notebook is a 5 subject notebook and is pretty big. So the green is average size and the purple is a bit bigger.
Other than that, I like it a lot.
I would say that my 5 star rating does NOT include their pen/glue stick. I do like the elastic loop for a pen, but I would plan on having your own pens and glue. This could be a good in a bind option but the pen is awkward to hold the ink seems less than perfect also the glue is basically like a generic glue stick but way smaller and using it tends to smush it down toward where the cap will overlap the pen. The one glue test I did = sure it stuck but not very well, I could easily lift the glued pieces up after they dried, in some places peeling up what it was glued to, in some parts not. More trouble than it's worth. I wasn't buying it for the pen though, so that didn't hurt my rating at all. Just something to look out for if you don't happen to already have good glue and pens.
