    I always wanted and needed a good quality multimeter. I did quite a bit of research before finally investing into this Kaiweets HT118A mulimeter with True RMS and 6000 count accuracy. It's got a lot of functionality: backlit LED panel, backlit placement of probes on dial, Non-Contact Voltage sensing, continuity testing, and temperature reading just to name a few extra added bonuses for this gadget. The quality of this multimeter build is really good with the semi-hard rubber sleeve. There's no looseness or rattling of any sort. The stand in the back kicks out smoothly and the battery compartment screw and panel comes out with a sense of quality.

    This unit is provided with a set of test leads and a set of temperature sensor. The test leads are very good and I would say that it's so good and pointy that you don't need to get another quality set sold by Kaiweets or it's competitors like TackLife (which I got and will be part of another review. I do have comparison pictures to show the differences and similarities). The test lead handles feel great and the plugs fit snugly into the ports of the multimeter. NOTE: The last 6 pictures are test lead comparisons with TackLife. The Kaiweets leads that came with the unit is either on the left (side to side comparison) or bottom (top and bottom comparison).

    The readings from the temperature lead is accurate to +/- 1*C. I tested it by shoving the temperature sensor lead under my armpit to see what my body temperature is. It should be 36*C, but the multimeter constantly read 35*C (shown in the picture).

    All in all, for the price as compared to other professional/industrial multimeters from highly rated brands, I think you can't beat this for home/automotive use. This is probably one of the best purchases on Amazon!

    Have had a ton of meters over the years. They all have worked fine, but this one seems to stand out above the rest! It's extremely easy to use, offering AC/DC reading without needing to switch between nodes.
