Product Description

Start your morning, afternoon, or evening tea ritual using Simpliss 'a Tea direct immersion brewing method. Always brew the perfect cup of tea by selecting your favorite loose tea leaves. Measure the recommended amount of tea leaves and place them into the BPA FREE clear brewing chamber. Heat water to the temperature suggested for the tea type and carefully pour into the clear brewing chamber. Once the desired steep time is reached remove the Simpliss 'a Tea chamber off the drip tray, included, and place it on top of your favorite tea cup. The patented mechanism will automatically start the flow of tea into your cup while the removable strainer will prevent any loose tea leaves from escaping the brewing chamber. Simply lift the Simpliss 'a Tea off your cup to stop the flow of tea and place it back on the drip tray. Add honey or your sweetener of preference, if any, and savor the natural aroma as you sip your cup of tea. Cup not included.

It's easy to brew a great cup of tea with. Easy clean up - need the drip tray for after you get the tea in your cup it will drip on or two drops (i own three diff brands of same item they all do and that is why they all come with a drip tray.) I love that if I am drinking a tea that can be brewed twice I just leave it in the tea maker and when I am done with cup one I get up and add more hot water for cup two no wasted bags, or tea. (I have three types because I have lots of tea drinkers in the house)

I saw this system on America's Test Kitchen on PBS & I LOVE this little gadget! Because I use loose-leaf teas, the fine mesh at the bottom of the brewer gets most of what you don't want left in your tea. The gasket that holds the hot water in while brewing has worked well so far. The coaster that comes with the system rarely ever has even a drop of tea on it, even if I remove the unit from a mug during the drain down process. If you're in a hurry, this system might not be for you. Brewing a good cup of tea is a process and this just makes it a lot more enjoyable!

Tea or coffee works either way

I like that I can use this for tea or coffee. To clean after use I dump out the used grounds or tea, pull out the filter rinse everything well put the filter back.
My only complaint is that I have to remove the lid so it will fit under my kuerig, I use that to dispense hot water. Just a minor inconvenience and not worth removing a star. This works exactly as it is supposed to work.

Brewing in a real tea pot is better but this is the next best I have found. I have had this only a short time so experience is limited. Long term success will depend on how well that little valve performs. If it holds up well this is a winner. Lets hope it does.
