5.0 out of 5 stars Best boot for working women
By Brownie on November 9, 2016
These boots are great. I am ordering my second pair as I finally retire my old boots. I need steel toe for work and I do a lot of walking around construction sites in all weather. My boots have lasted 2 years, working 6 days a week and hundreds and hundreds of miles. They were comfortable from day one out of the box. The quality is fantastic, the leather has been saturated from rain and caked in mud over and over and they hold up great

5.0 out of 5 stars Excited to have these to work in - great protection!
By Bendi on September 15, 2017
My keen steel toe work shoes came today and i've been wearing them around the house since I got them which so far has been 3 hours. I have aching feet all the time and I'm recovering from bunion surgery that I had in December. Usually when I'm trying on shoes I'll wear them around and if they start hurting my feet within the first few minutes I'll have to rip them off. These I have kept on continually and I'm feeling pretty good as well as very protected . They don't feel Cushy on your feet but the way keen makes the footbed conform to your feet (which I'm very impressed with!) they're pretty comfortable and has made me want to look into their other types of shoes. When you first put them on they feel like the uncomfortableness of a rollerblade skate. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe but I lately buy an 8 sneaker so I bought these in size 8 since reviewers suggested to buy larger. Upon first putting them on I thought these are way too big but then I put on thicker socks which is needed with these (The kind that go up your ankle because these boots do rub your ankle) and I realize they're not too big in fact sometimes I wonder if I should have gotten an 8 1/2 in order to wear an even thicker sock (i'm wearing an old pair of Thorlow socks that I got to wear with my rollerblades years ago for now until my other socks arrive that I've ordered to wear with these )and maybe even an insert for some cushion. At this moment I don't think there would be room for an insert if it were to go up under your toes because of the height in that area. The toebox is roomy enough Side to side but not as far as when you lift your toe straight up. They do not touch the top of your toes though, there is some room there. Keep in mind I have not gone out and worked in them yet. Sometimes something that seems like an issue isn't after while. I guess I'll have to give them a more fair review in the near future. I also would like to state that I have never had steel toed work shoes before so I really didn't know what to expect as far as comfort. I'm feeling like these are going to work out real well although maybe hot but that's expected in a high top steel toe work shoe.
