Product Description

Khomo Introduces its new case for Apple iPad 2 and new iPad 3. This case uses a Polyurethane Smart Cover FRONT (same as Apple's smart case) PLUS it also has a Hard plastic Protector for the back. This case is ULTRA SLIM and is thin enough to match the thinness of the iPad. Not only does the case offer your Apple iPad great protection (from dust, scratches, oil, fingerprint, small impacts etc...), it also offers you two ways to stand up your apple iPad (Vertically and horizontally.) This case is chic, light weight and low-profile, and it does not add any bulk to the Apple iPad. This Case works the same way (and is the same material) as Apple's 40 Smart Case. The advantage of this case is that it also protects the back of your iPad. So now you can have a full protection for your iPad.

Pro: Two piece design that is extremely easy to apply. Great looking gel like case cover that's both durable and functional. "Smart" screen cover has a magnet that turns unit off when closed. Felt liner on screen cover offers excellent protection and additional scratch resistance.

Con: A month after initial installation the "smart" cover is showing some wear and tear. Currently it's only minor and cosmetic, but with daily usage and as additional months pass it will eventually effect the protection level.

Summary: Great looking 2 piece design that fits perfectly and performs exceptionally. The only drawback is that with heavy day to day usage the "smart" cover won't be able to sustain it's initial high level of protection. All in all it's well worth the cost and comes highly recommended. Heavy users consider a leather edition cover.

I think really liked this case but I dont think its very sturdy. The color was great - I got the baby blue. The back is lightly colored blue so you can still see the back if you have your ipad engraved. The front cover will turn your ipad on & off when you open close it. The front cover folds in back if you want to use it to prop up your ipad. I had a problem with my first one where it cracked after the 30 day warranty period & they replaced it free of charge - Great customer service! Just need to be careful cuz its definitely not drop proof. I broke the 2nd case after I dropped it. I gave this item 4 stars because of the great experience but the case could be made better for protection.

While not exactly as high-quality as Apple's Smart Cover, the cover that this case comes with is very, very similar. The snap-on back, in pursuit of trying to fit all iPads since the 2nd Gen, has a small bit of "looseness" to it, but it stays on ok. It has a good feature that helps in the cover retention: the back part snaps on to the "smart cover" hinge, adding an extra layer of retention for the cover.

Good case for light-duty. I am switching out the Otterbox Defender I had on the iPad, as it is TOO clumsy, and my need for a heavy-duty case has gone away. This iPad won't be going to work with me any longer, it will just be staying at home. As a result, I am comfortable with something a little lighter. I give this case an 8 out of 10 (including an extra point for the price).

Barely fit, and magnets worked poorly

Bought this based on the great price and at least modest reviews. It does fit onto the iPad well, at least, onto the back. The problem is the front. As advertised, this cover looks and attempts to mimic an Apple Smart cover. The problem is that they didn't do the magnets well. First, unlike a real cover (or more expensive cases, e.g. the DeviceWear I used to have), the magnet will not hold the cover closed against the back of the iPad once you have it open. Second, because the magnet is not stabilizing that cover, it will slide around while you're trying to hold the iPad. If it slides the wrong way, it will trip the "screen off" switch, and you'll suddenly be interrupted. Real pain in the rear if you ever try to use your iPad on a bumpy bus or subway.

Would have considered a replacement, but the manufacturer doesn't offer that option. It's returns or nothing.

I found this one with good reviews. Was deciding between the light gray and the blue. Got the blue one eventually. just received it and it fits well. The magnetic cover puts iPad into sleep well. It is maybe like 1-2mm wider than I want it to be? But fine, not that bothering! Cannot beat the price!

This cover definitely makes my ipad look nice and it is easily the best deal around. If you plan to keep your case on your ipad forever then I would highly recommend this. However, that was not my intent. My only issue with this product is that it is really hard to take off. The first couple times it took a long time but it was ok-unfortunately the last time I tried to take it off I cracked the back of it a little bit in my attempt to remove it... I've only had it for about 2 months. I guess some people never want to take their case off, not me though. I have a logitech magnetic keyboard so I need to take my case off every time I want to use it otherwise it won't hook onto my keyboard. So I was a bit disappointed.

The case was really sleek and cool. It snaps easily onto the back of the ipad and fully covers the front. I was a little bit confused with how to make it stand up, though, and needed someone to show me how to make the little triangle in the back! However, you can see from the pictures here how to do it correctly. I will say that it can be tipped over quite easily, like if you have it propped up somewhere to listen to music or something, it will tip over easily. However, that is truly the only even somewhat negative thing about this, and to me it's totally no problem and worth it!

When I first received this, I was thrilled with it. It looks perfect, fit perfectly onto my iPad and was just what I wanted. My first impression was that it was just as good as the apple ones available but at a fraction of the cost.
Unfortunately, the quality isn't great and the back panel started cracking within a month and the front folding cover became almost too soft and loose to hold the iPad up when in the folded back position.
I now need a new cover again and won't be buying this one again. I'll be paying full price and buying through apple.
