Moore's prose, in what I assume to be his first novel, provides much to be admired; it is rich in detail and tightly focused. The heroine/protagonist ShirinReyes is extremely likeable, a quick-change artist able to assumepersonas with small changes in clothes, hair, or stature and as shefells each villain we cheer her on because this is how we would like tohandle the scum-buckets we suffer in politics in today's crooked world. The body count, however, is a bit high, and Reyes' talent stretches the bounds of believability but if you just want a fast ride in which thelecherous leaders of today's free world get their due, then sit back and appreciate the adventures as they come hurling past you.
This thrillermanages to create genuine suspense as a sort of psychological detectivestory. With characteristic grace and skill, Moore manages to turn thiscat-and-mouse game into something suspenseful. I would highly recommend this compulsively readable debut to anyone who enjoys thrillers, wellwritten storylines, fleshed out characters and a purposeful plot." -

Some Frequently asked questions from fans...
What's next for you as a writer?
"Once I've finished with my Ghost Writing commitments, I'd like to work more on 'The Clock' action thriller series. Part two, titled 'Dead Reckoning', is available now, with another four in the series to follow.___
I plan to continue to write kick-ass, deadly, action thriller fiction books for as long as I can!
I've also started planning two spin-off series from 'Dead Reckoning', and I'm thinking fans will really enjoy the new spin-offs!"
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
" I really love reading action thriller books. With that in mind, my picks would be;___
1. The Parsifal Mosaic - Robert Ludlum
2. American Assassin - Vince Flynn
3. Lightning - Dean Koontz"
What inspires you to write?
"The voices, images, stories in my head that I can't get out any other way."___
Do you listen to or talk to your characters?
"I definitely listen! But I also 'feel' them. When I was writing the sex scenes, my wife had never been so happy ;) but when I was writing some of the more evil scenes, I had to have a few stiff drinks and watch a ridiculous comedy just to get back to normal. Is there such a thing as 'method writing'?"
