I've owned this (non koroyd) helmet for two and a half years and has taken me all over the Colorado Alpine pass, Moab, and several places in between. It has logged over 300 sweat soaked hrs and 1600 miles of hard riding. It has bounced off tree branches and Mother Earth many times, and shows little signs of damage.
This is a damn good helmet.
The weight, ventilation, and build quality is superior to any helmet in it's price range. The metal chin strap mounts are still as solid as the day I bought it, and the shell is still holding strong.
The crown liner has compressed down, and no longer fits properly, but recently replaced here for $30 and it's good to go for another 2.5 years.
Granted, this helmet was made in Aug/2018, and times have changed.
But this is THE BEST AMERICAN MADE(so they say) helmet, I have ever owned.
I should have bought 2, as is my custom, but at the $400 price, and the American economical climate, I hated to gamble.
I hope when it comes time to replace it, KLIM won't let me down.
