Great for gaming! Bought three of these so far, this way I can label the keys for different MMO character loadouts. Since I use a combination of controller and keyboard/mouse... I have a mini-keyboard which does not have a numeric keypad which prohibited me from programming numeric keys, this gives me that ability plus is small and lightweight enough to not take up much room when I'm not using. I just stack them on top of each other and when I switch characters I just grab the associated keypad.

I just got this keypad in yesterday. It connected quickly and easily to my computer, which for me is a major plus. I bought this keypad to replace another one that I had purchased just a couple of weeks prior (a Satechi). I like the nano receiver because it doesn't stick out like the one on my old Targus keypad (bought several years ago and used on my personal laptop. I haven't used this new one very much, but I am impressed with its responsiveness. It goes to sleep after a few seconds of non-use, and can easily be woken up with just a keystroke.

I agree with other reviewers that this keypad should have a slot where you can store the receiver (even my old Targus, with the big, bulky receiver, has one). It should also have an on/off switch (again, even my old Targus has one). I had originally purchased this keypad to use with my work laptop. I travel quite a bit for business, and my laptop does not have its own 10-key. Yesterday, I had to go see a new client whose office was just a few miles from my home office. I put my laptop to sleep and then put it into my backpack. When I tried putting the keypad into the backpack, it kept waking up my laptop because a key would be hit while trying to put it in the backpack. Granted, I could shut the computer down and then store it and the keypad. However, the keypad would still be waking up or trying to respond every time a key got pushed down by movement of the backpack. I am assuming this will cause the battery to run down faster than it should. So, to solve this problem I have switched it out with my old Targus keypad (that has the storable receiver and an on/off switch). The new Kmashi keypad will stay on my desk with my personal laptop, and the old Targus will travel with me for work.

If the Kmashi had had a slot for storing the receiver and an on/off switch, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4. However, to the potential purchaser of this product. It is a great investment for the price!

Good keyboard, poor design.

Love the keyboard, but the keyboard itself was uneven, like a chair that wobbles back and forth because one leg is shorter than the other. I resorted to putting tape on the one side that kept making the entire numpad rock back and forth and it's fine now. Also, I don't get why there's no ON/OFF button. I know it goes into energy conservation when not in use, but when I don't take it out of my bag while using my computer, the numpad starts to type if something hits the keys. On the bright side, came with one AAA battery.

The keys are kind of mushy but I'm sure ill adapt to them. But this item works perfectly. Other keypads I have had go to sleep and then when use them the first digit has to be repeated cause the first keystroke wakes the unit up. That doesn't seem to happen with this unit, the first keystroke is registered , no problems. And all the keys work, other units I have had the minus key didn't register with windows. So if you are using windows7 this unit worked for me perfectly. I hope I can shorten your search for the perfect wireless keypad with this review, this is it.

No spot for the USB dongle. Most wireless accessories (mouse, keyboard, 10-key, etc.) have a place to put the USB dongle when the device is not in use. Even something as simple as an external holster or place to snap the dongle into place would be enough. Other than this one (relatively important) issue, the keypad is about what I expected--cheap feeling but functional, compact (and therefore portable), and has feet that keep it anchored well. Overall, if you plan to use this in a single location, it does the job. I bought this for travel, and I am confident that the dongle will eventually get lost. When I lose this critical piece, I will not be purchasing this keypad again.

It's a good product for those like me who can't seem to get used to a laptop's number pad. The downside to this product is that once the battery is installed, there's no way to turn the unit off with a mini switch (like a wirelss mouse). And there's no compartment to save the wireless usb plug.

Impressive Device for the Price!

You will not find a better Bluetooth number pad for the price. I have been using this product for a couple months now to input prices into my accounting software on my laptop and it has help up well. It lacks a physical on/off switch, but it does a good job of knowing when to "sleep" to conserve battery. I've used it nearly every day for a couple months now and have not had to replace the batteries yet.

I've had no issues connecting this to either my MacBook Pro or my Windows 10 laptop. With the MacBook, there are some initial setup steps to identify the type of keyboard, but once you get past that, it is smooth sailing.

The Kmashi Key Pad was delivered on time like most all Amazon orders. The Keypad was ease to connect as it is Plug and Play. Just insert the receiver into a USB port and you're ready to start using it. I have been using it with my Microsoft Surface Book (Windows 10) and it works perfectly. I also use it with my New iMac along with the Magic Keypad which does not have a number keypad. I recommend Kmashi if you have a need for a convenient keypad for such things as spread sheets or anytime you are entering numbers.
