The story of Maxine and Drew continues with the fanfare of planning their wedding, the wedding itself and its aftermath. As with previous books, there's tons of humor, emotion, and lots of sex. Just what we like to see!
I've always been a believer that BDSM practices are not about the dark sides of people's psyche but instead are fun, hence the term "play." KNOTTED reinforces this belief by giving us two characters who are in love and like to have fun in the bedroom. This is exactly how I envision that scenario.
There's revisits of several supporting characters from the first two books but there are plenty of explanations so if you haven't read books 1 and 2, you can read book 3 without a scorecard. However, I do recommend that you read the first two books simply to be able to experience this lovely story.
There are some carryovers of subplots from the previous installments but they don't overpower the story. My favorite supporting character was was a toss up between Maxine's best friend Ben, Drew's Aunt Frannie, and Drew's brother Adam. All are hilariously funny and total eccentrics with laugh out loud antics.
Probably the only thing that I had concern about was that this book is much longer than the first two. There is quite a bit of story to tell and Juliet Braddock tells it well, painting each scene so that we can just "see" what's going on in the scene as we read. That's no small feat for any author. However, readers who aren't into reading longer books with description might find the book a bit much.
I highly recommend KNOTTED. It is a great book to immerse yourself in and have some fun.
Passion,love,angst,drama,humor and of course love.
Love Max and Dew and Uncle Benjy and the rest of the characters who makes the whole story fit together.
Cant wait to see what next for them all.
Drew and Maxine are in love and get married. Drew gives Max the best honeymoon any woman would love to have. Max is loving all the kinky things Drew has taught her and she finds herself asking for more each time they play. Drew is only too happy to be the one to teach her and show her.
Even with them both having troubled past, they have both become so much stronger with each other.
Once the honeymoon is over they both must return to their busy lives. Drew is up for a Tony award and is working non stop to be the best he can be.
Maxine and Drew discover that they have a stalker who is out to let the world know about the lifestyle they live in. Drew only hopes they can figure out who it is before things get out of hand. Will they find this person? What will happen to the happy couple if things go to far? You must read to find d out how things end!!!!
Ben and Jeffery are moving along nicely in their relationship and Ben's mom has finally come around to his lifestyle!!! This means the world to Ben to finally have his mother's support.
JULIET thank you again for another great read!!! Looking forward to the next book in the series!!!!

Even though the stories are definitely kinky there's a definite relationship theme throughout. Parents & children, siblings, friendships and of course the romantic!
I cannot get enough of Max & Drew. They are kinky, funny and completely adorable. The main characters are wonderfully written but so is the supporting motley crew :) Drew's brother Adam is definitely the comic relief - very often. The wedding portion alone had me laughing out loud! The reception definitely left me in stitches and tears. From Ben's dad romp in the bushes to Jillian's pregnancy announcement. There was never a dull moment.
The honeymoon or as I called it the "horny-moon" was out of this world. It was so well written you felt like you were transported to France. At times, so intimate you felt like you were intruding on a couple's private moment. The honeymoon was as romantic as it was raunchy.
Of course this story couldn't be all dandelions and domination. There was definitely a dose of angst and drama brought to us by the unfriendly neighborhood psycho -Randall - who was a pitiful as he was evil.
The end of the book nearly had me in tears. Maxine's assault, Trevor protecting Drew, the scenes at the hospital. It was almost too much to handle. TJ reuniting with Drew and Drew telling Max he loved her even more after everything that happened. I love, love, love them!
I'm looking forward to the next book which I hope will bring a baby for our favorite couple, a baby that's not furry.
