Kodak Smile Instant digital camera is fabulous and exciding, I was so excited when I heard that Kodak came out with such a cool device. The smile camera is equipped with a LCD viewfinder fixed focus making it very easy to smile, point, shoot and print! I love the automatic flash feature so when you are in low light it automatically flashes and comes with a 10MP lens, what makes this point and shoot stand out is the editing suite this cool camera offers when you take an image it will save (device is microSD compatible and you can save up to 256gb of memories!) the picture before going into edit mode, there is an assortment of filter to choose from you can choose to add or remove borders on any image. The coolest feature is the FACT that it prints color phots right on the spot with its one touch printing and no ink is needed! Making it easy to share with friends and family (they love the wallet size 2x3 prints, a few are hanging on my refrigerator it is peel off sticky backed photo paper ) the Kodak 2x3 paper is very economical too.

Open paper tray. Insert KODAK ZINK Paper. Ensure blue calibration sheet is at the bottom.

Slide open camera. It will beep three times and the LCD will activate.

Press menu button. Select and adjust filter, border, flash, and other settings.

I am satisfied with this camera!
I did a compare and contrast for you guys versus the Fujifilm mini 8. First off I like the idea it is rechargeable even though it is a small lifespan depending how many times you print pictures. The first photo with the sunflowers was in the complete shade and I can see that the Smile Camera gets better background visual and more detail than the fujifilm. The succulents was in the semi shade yet still captures light and dark fairly well. I was quite surprised with the last photo with the potted plant. It was in the complete sunlight and the Smile camera was still able to grab colors versus the fujifilm that just looks plain white to me, you can hardly see any purple from the lavender flowers! Overall I am satisfied with this camera and fits well for the price. It is a tad smaller than the fujifilm if you slide the camera lens to close. If this camera had better battery life or a bigger screen it would be even better!

It’s a hit or miss sometimes depending on the lighting but def fun and cute. The film isn’t as pricey as others so I don’t mind going crazy taking pics and making memories. Some prints come a little blotchy at times but sometimes it adds a cool little vintage style to it.
