The quality is definitely Kohler. It's heavy duty and well made. The design is beautiful but it's not for a lavatory that gets used everyday because after you wash your hands and turn the water off with your wet hands, the water drips on the top of the beautiful faucet and leaves water stains on it. Unless you wipe it off after every use, this faucet does not look beautiful most of the time. I only gave it three stars because of this reason, but it is a beautiful well made Kohler faucet, probably more suitable for a show bathroom than one that gets used.

Solid feel, seems well built but stains EXTREMELY easily as noted by another reviewer. Maybe the brushed nickel finish is better, I wish I had spent extra $1k on my bathroom hardware (all higher end Kohler) but now it is too late, oh well.

Solid look but not feel

As the other reviewer mentioned, it's quite a heavy faucet which creates expectations about a solid feel during use. Unfortunately, the handle can wiggle about 1/8 inch in any direction before activating the valve. I expected a solid feel (and not just look) from a faucet at this price point. Overall, installation was straightforward, although I have not been able to get the aerator to function properly and may seek a replacement.

Although the faucet looks clean and modern, ours is constantly full of water drop from people turning it off. It also squeaks badly from dry o-rings. The top is impossible to take off after the water drips in and makes the top ring all crusty.
