We bought this a couple of weeks ago for our rescued mix breed dog (she is lab and schnauzer, 5-6) months old. Red ring was chewed up with teeth marks within 20 minutes, HOWEVER it absolutely doesn't take away from the awesomeness of this dog toy! We put in multiple sizes of treats so she is rewarded instantly, however realizes there are more treats in, so keeps her interest going for a long time. I would repurchase this AND would highly recommend it!

Ordered this for my dog to keep him occupied when I am busy or working. He LOVES it but when it is empty he chews the exterior. I would not give this to your dog if you are not paying attention since my dog has absolutely obliterated the outside ring.

They are hard enough to last. I have accidentally dropped it, no damage. I put several pieces of kibble or treats and within min this is empty and dogs are no longer interested. It is hard to get the one half off and back on straight so it will roll.

This arrived yesterday. We recently adopted a six month old golden doodle. Apparently she is an “aggressive chewer” so I wouldn’t recommend for dogs who really really like to chew! Kong is a great brand and we have other Kong chew toys for her. This one is a different type of plastic that shreds.

Great for dog that eats too fast

This is the second one of these we’ve purchased - we use it to feed our dog. Fits about 3/4c of dry dog food.

The first lasted 4 years until the ball wouldn’t spin anymore. Our dog loves it - it helps slow down his eating. Before using this, he would scarf it down so fast it would make him puke. Now, it gives him some mental stimulation and slows down his eating.

Large food chunks (like Purina One has mixed in) are sometimes a little too big to get out. Our pup just picks it up and brings it to us if he can’t get the last piece or two out.

Our dog is an chewer - almost no toys survive him. He doesn’t seem to care about the red ring or n this though - maybe because we only use it for feeding? If we don’t screw the ball totally tight, it can pop open as he rolls it around and he does try to chew on the half of then blue sphere that comes off.

My dog loves this kong and I have re order this product.
have a small size Cockapoo . She plays a lot with this toy and chews it etc. My 1st order was in September 2018 and lasted until April 2019.
However this time the red parts plastic didn't last long and got ripped in 2 days. My dog managed ro chew it out very easily. it looks like the red plastic part seems softer compare to previous Kong i have ordered. it is not as durable as the previous kong. It looks like the toy made by different plastic recipe.
Unfortunately not happy with the product this time.

Absolutely love this Kong.. it gives my Fox Terrier plenty of entertainment. Lots of fun to watch him too. I fill with kibble but put a blob of peanut butter at the exit hole making it a bit harder for him to work for his food.. I would strongly reccomend doing this if your dog us quick in getting the kibble out.. cleaning is easy too. The ball just unscrew in the middle and you can run it under the tap. Perfect item for dogs left by themselves to entertain themselves. I have given 5 stars for cleaning durability and easy to clean.. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The small was a perfect size too
