This stuff is easy to use and the rust just runs off. It leaves a protective coating which lasts quite a while. It leaves a somewhat whiteish spotty film or reaction residue but that is better than the rust. We bought an old milking stool that was totally covered in rust. After three or four sprayings the rust just ran off and even revealed the paint below. Wow.
I prefer soaking parts using the liquid rust remover also manufactured by Krud Kutter when possible but for large parts or other jobs where immersion isn't possible this gel does work well. Very reasonable price as well. One bottle goes a long way if use it properly.

Does not remove rust as it says. Tried it on an old saw and it removed a very little rust.Published 12 days ago by Jacque Marsh
I used this on some rusted metal decor that has been outside. It left a horrible white residue that I had to
end up sanding off. I don't recommend this at all.

This is a rip off and a joke. It is so jelled in the bottle you can barely squeeze it out to apply with a brush. No way you can squirt it on. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Mike
This stuff will not come out of the bottle...and you can not even rub it on to have it work with a sponge.Published 3 months ago by alchemist
Worked okay, but the sprayer was useless. Had to glug the gel onto a sponge to apply. Still did the job as well as expectedPublished 4 months ago by Erin E. Roberts
Did not take it all off. I should have just bought a drill with wire attachment.Published 5 months ago by Sage
