First, heat the can in warm water (not boiling hot, hot tap water is fine) to make the particle size finer. Only use it in dry days without much or any humidity. Spray at a distance of about a foot away from your project because it sprays heavily. Do not spray directly onto your project, spray away from it at first and then do one back and forth sweep. Let it dry for about fifteen minutes between very light coats. Patience is key.
If you do all this and you're careful you'll end up with a nice flat look. There are better alternatives to this product that don't require as much caution but this is inexpensive and will work provided you're careful.
I will update if I figure out some way to resolve the issue, but for now, I can't recommend this.
I have had no luck with this product on dolls, it does mediocre on their bodies. Heads are a nightmare.
Its fickle and sensitive to, hot, cold etc so many have to open the Windows to an inside room and shut all life out a few hours to mske this remotely work.
