Got this hat on a trip and a guy told me I could make it last longer if I used clear acrylic on it. Well I got white blotchy marks all over it. Not an expensive hat but socks to ruin a memory. And yes I tried to brush off the white, didn't work. Don't use on straw hats...sure it works fine on everything else
