The welds are "meh" at best and the steel while shiny and seemingly rust resistant, are quite thin. For the price, I am not complaining. I recommend them for the home chef/cook.

These rings are scaled in metric, so the largest ring measures 14.5 cm (at the the inner cutting edge), equivalent to 5 and 5/8 inches, while the next smaller sizer measures 12.5 cm, equivalent to 4 and 15/16 inches, and so on. If you are ok with these sizes, this set should serve you well. They are thick enough to hold up to use but thin enough to give a clean cut. I have used them several times now and find they clean easily. No signs of rust (but I always pop pastry cutters and tips in the toaster oven to ensure they are well dried before storing).
