I purchased this probe based on reviews and because it had a slight price reduction compared to similar items. I have had it for about two years and have been very happy with the ease of use and features. Within the last month the battery cover broke around the retaining ring as I went to use it. I don't believe I have ever dropped it, and the original battery is still working. I contacted the company about getting a replacement cover so I wouldn't have to tape the cover in place, and to my surprise they sent me a complete new unit at no charge. Their response to my email was within hours, and the new probe arrived the next week. It's great to have this kind of response from a business.

Needed to replace the thermometer I used in the kitchen as it wasn’t water resistant, but it never foot wet as you could only wipe clean. This has fit the bill wonderfully. The chart is a help when not quite sure of temperature for particular meat. Really like that all you do is just open the probe and it turns on and close it turns off. I would recommend this thermometer.

I keep it stuck to the side of my fridge where I can always find it exactly when I need it. I've never had strong feelings about a meat thermometer before but I LOVE this one!
