Hasidic New Wave was one of the most interesting jazz groups around in the late '90s. They were shining lights of the Downtown NYC/Knitting Factory scene and in the revival and advancement of new Jewish music. This album is a real treat for lovers of adventurous music.

A hard to find, invigorating work from a variety of fine players, including the always fascinating David Fiuczynski on guitar. The interplay between them all is a sonic joy for the ear to behold. Indulge!

Real quick review. Great fusion of modern jazz and old Klezmer melodies. Killer bass playing by Fima Ephron. The "The Frank Zappa Memorial Bris" is just crazy. I think he would approve.
