Great product for BOYS and their sisters too

Got these for my 9 year old son. He loves them and enjoys imagining their special skills. The varieties of characters he can create are quite a bit. Bot male and female. One selection has a jet pack, another has roller wheels for boots, so it's pretty cool. His older sister likes to play with him making characters, as well.
Product quality is decent and on par with the "girls" version of fashion plates most of us Gen Xers grew up with in the 70's.
Recommend for up to 12 or 13 years old, depending on interests of the child. I don't recommend it for kids as young as 4, they could not operate it well and would be frustrated.

UPDATE: It's 2 years later and this still gets used at our house. I still recommend it!

Great fun for my artistic 6 year old. He loves to draw and color but soemtimes it’s hard for him to invent a starting point. Choosing the parts to make a hero is just the jump start he needs! Really convenient thar we can print out additional background pages at home (there are PDFs on the website of each background 2 to a page). We love it!!

This set reminded me of something I had when I was a kid but I had a girls version (which you can also find today) so i thought my 4 & 6 yr old would live these and they DID!
